Larry Nicholas Memorial Race

The IRA Larry Nicholas race, sponsored by the KRC, will be an in-person event, Nov. 7th. Safety measures have been put in place to adhere to proper COVID 19 protocols. Requirements for this outside event are: vaccination passport, masks at start and finish of race, bottled water, no day of race registration, and no gathering for awards. (Results will be posted online.)

Course Information:

Date and Time: November 7/2021 @ 10am. Bib pick up 830 - 930 (Day of race only).

 The 2020 edition would have been the 37th running of the race. Pandemic restrictions have sadly required cancellation of the event. 
Location: Mission Creek Regional Park - 2363 Springfield Road (intersection of Springfield and Durnin Roads).

This is usually a 9K race with 3 loops near Mission Creek EECO Centre. (The 4K is only one loop).

Features:

  • Water station at start/finish.
  • Washrooms near start and finish. First Aid on site.
  • Refreshments, awards
  • Lots of parking at start/finish.

-no awards/draw prizes after the race
